⁴⁴ Some of them even wanted to arrest him, but no one laid a hand on him.

⁴⁵ Then the temple guards went back to the chief priests and the Pharisees, who asked them, “Why did you not arrest him?” ⁴⁶ The guards answered, “No one has ever spoken as this man has.”
